Those afflicted with Stevens Johnson Syndrome or Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis can unequivocally tell you the reactions, usually caused by a defective drug, are nothing to joke about. The often deadly skin reaction that develops a short period after ingesting a new drug causes the body to burn from the inside out leaving those who are lucky enough to survive it with permanent scarring, disabilities and other serious health related issues. In times of such struggle and strife many client's of ours have told me they initially did not think they were ever going to make it though the ordeal.

For those that do survive the event, most find themselves in a much different situation than before they developed SJS or TEN. They often ask me as their Stevens Johnson Syndrome lawyer and/or Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis lawyer for advice on a variety of issue ranging from various treatments to additional information on how other patients cope with the aftermath of a SJS or TEN event. One place I and many client's have found very helpful in answering these questions is the STEVENS JOHNSON SYNDROME FOUNDATION. It is a non profit group driven and dedicated to educating people on the serious issues facing to SJS and TEN ptients and it also strives to help those afflicted with the deadly reaction with loads of great advice, resources, and support. It is one of the best all around sites relating to SJS and TEN on the web and is a must visit destination for anyone desiring more info or help with such topics.
